Lekšun-Lemež
Two smaller mountain farms, Lekšun and Lemež, have merged into Grunt Sonek in the heart of the Pohorje forests. Grunt Sonek is located on an altitude of 1000m, surrounded by flowering meadows, an orchard and a forest. It is 6 km from Mislinja and 11 km from the sports centre Rogla and 26 km from sports centre Kope. There is also a bicycle connection between the two centers.
We welcome everyone who wants to get away from the hustle of the city and the daily rush and simply enjoy the fresh mountain air, relax in nature and simply enjoy the peace and quiet at Grunt Sonek.

Active summer
Grunt Sonek offers an excellent starting point for mountain biking along the calming forest paths through the Pohorje hills. At the same time, you can also go on a trip along the bicycle path - ŠTREKNA, which is the path of the old railway that led through our regions. The attractive path leads you along the steep walls of the narrow Huda Luknja gorge all the way to Velenje and beyond. In the opposite direction, the bicycle path takes you through the blooming fields of the Mislinja and Drava valleys. By bike, you can also visit one of the many MTB trails for which Carinthia is widely known. The views of the Carinthian mountains and the Kamniško-Savinjske Alps invite all lovers of mountaineering and hiking to visit. There is also a marked mountain trail to Rogla in the immediate vicinity of Grunt Sonek. The sports center itself is an excellent starting point for exploring the Pohorje hills. One of the most picturesque excursion spots are the Lovren Lakes, definitely worth a visit.
Winter joys
The snow cover offers various types of entertainment. Not far away we find two ski centres that offer you a wide selection of winter sports activities (skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, etc.). On our Grunt Sonek, however, you have unlimited possibilities for winter fun (sledding, sledding, snowshoeing, etc.).

This is us
This is us - the Sonjak family and our Grunt Sonek, which was created by merging the farms Lekšun and Lemež. Why Sonek - because this name appeared in the history of our family, which is where our surname Sonjak comes from.
The two hosts, Špela and Marko, have always intertwined their lives with tourism. By renovating the more than 300-year-old house, we wanted it to come alive again. By taking over the farm, we opened a new chapter on our land, where we want to build on solid foundations with an emphasis on warmth, authenticity and sustainability. We took all of this into account when renovating the old house where we combined our wishes and ideas to create the final result. During the renovation, we tried to preserve as many original elements as possible, wood from the local forest and clay. The details, such as preserved wooden beams, steep massive stairs, low ceilings, clay lamps, and a fireplace, create the warm atmosphere that we want to create for you as your hosts.
